Would biomorphic be fitting? As opposed to abstract. Although they are abstract, but not really. :) You are definitely on to something. I really like the color schemes. Very organic. To me each one feels like an awakening or birth of some sort. Thanks for sharing! :)

Dan! Thanks for buggin' Kerry to contact me. I must apologize for borrowing lyrics and singing them out of tune - and for embellished them a bit - but they made for a great good night song for each of my children -...I believe this is the tune we sang to the host families of our RIOT's (Religious Interaction Of Teens) in the early '80's:
"I love you Ty; Oh yes I do; I love you Ty and I'll be true; When your not with me...I'm blue; Oh Ty I love you. - embellishment - I love you in the morning; I love you at noon; I love you in the evening; and the whole day through; then I'd repeat your original words again. It never put them to sleep, but I trust it helped them know how much they're loved. I see that God truly loves you - and you him - and that he isn't finished with you yet. Thank you for sending me on the right path through an inner city high school.

Dan! I have the most vivid images of the paintings and prayers you led us in back a decade or so in Chattanooga. I still occasionally enjoy painting psalms (which I guess I would now describe as... lectio by painting?), and have even been able to worship this way with youth groups I've interned with. Mostly, I just remember you being a really nice guy who was fun to talk to. Just today learned about your book, and am looking forward to seeing your thoughts and discoveries. Grace and Peace and all you need to you and your family, sir. Thank you.

Your work with the spirit and the arts is like wrapping me in a warm comfy blanket. I AM a BELIEVER that we can live more joyously through the discovery of ourselves and the greater SPIRIT. ART is a magnificent and playful way to LIVE. I recognize a seasoned PILGRIM.

Nice comfortable site, felt like it was a "visit" with you catching up some on your journey. Every step forward in faith you make brings you one step closer to seeing Christ more clearly as it appears to me. I am still getting used to a life without a "job" since I recently retired so to speak. Wendy & I are well, happy and fully enjoying life here in the Grove. May your heart and mind be filled with creativity as you continue being the light-bearer to those you meet!
