I was inspired to write this song by the Rev. Carleton Bakkum, rector at Grace Church in Yorktown, VA. He asked me to sing for services one weekend and after asking about the Scripture reading for that Sunday, I penned this song. I have recorded two versions of this song and Carleton Bakkum has become one of my most trusted friends.
